(remember him from about 100 years ago with "Ariel"?) ...fantastic, Dean..... ....I saw Dean Friedman live on stage once - he was supporting (some of) Dr Hook at Pompey Guildhall - and it prob was about 100 yrs ago - feels like it!!........ |

....Eh? - Draught Guinness - not out of a tap? - what WOULD these bearded fellers say? - tasted ok to me mind - technology I suppose - wish I'd paid more attention in Physics at TBGS tbh to work out how this erm actually does its weird thing............... Ten years to the day since I first encountered this. Chelston had a Guinness at the Buckland pre-season game 9/7/09. Maybe we should have a curry to celebrate. |

As I've mentioned before, I once lived and worked in a place called Hillbrow in South Africa, it was then the most cosmopolitan place on earth...we all know where the most cosmopolitan place on earth is now don't we!
I lived in a house with a number of ex army guys and girlfriends. Across the road was a block of flats (50 odd I suppose) which was crescent shaped...hence a lot of the problem!
Parties at the house were frequent...every weekend!
Noise at the house was well, noisy...very!
Many times we had the threat of being fire bombed by the residents of the flats! On one occasion, police fired tear gas through the window! A week after the gas incident the police were at the door again. Gas mask (Pete Mac brought it...author of the book No Mean Soldier) on my face I opened the door...I was arrested again!
The above record was played many many many times...we never did get on with our neighbours!

While the rank and file TUST membership are hardly piling in with messages of support, I think TFF members can at least do their bit to raise the spirits of the plucky TUST (former) ambassadors. There's nothing like a sing-a-long to keep spirits up in a time of adversity, and Uncle Clarke could be re-examining the merits of their case as we speak.
