Did anyone else notice that we ended the Morecambe game with rhyming strikers in Sills and Mills?
Can anyone come up with another pair of TUFC rhyming strikers?

Surely the most 'Professional' pairing of players we've ever had were Shaw and Collins.....*
* For those of a 'younger-than-average' age on this forum, Martin Shaw and Lewis Collins played the lead roles in the seventies series 'The Professionals', whilst Ronnie Shaw and Sammy Collins were famous players from the United team in he fifties.

That centre-back pairing of Lloyd and Cole used to cause something of a commotion didn't it?
There was a Holmes and Watson act at Southampton and another at Plainmoor too...

Then of course in the eighties we had Smith & Jones....
Unless that was just their alias.... *
* Again, for our younger members, in the seventies the BBC2 ran a weekly wild-west, train robber series called 'Alias Smith & Jones'.

Whatever happened to Danny Mills, a young striker we had on loan frtom Peterborough? Well, he was at Whitehawk last season, a Brighton team that plays in Conference South. Alongside Jake Robinson apparently.

We got ripped apart by Marks and Sparkes of Braintree. Can we return the result within thirty-five days if we're not happy with it?

Back in '90 I was living in Sydenham and used to go and watch Wright and Bright at Palace.

I liked the fact that Hartley and Poole scored for Hartlepool earlier in the season. Shame we didnt have Torre playing in the same Gulls side as Billie Kee. Ha ha Midland, you naughty boy.
