Now adays every thing you use for work, or seem to do at work, is covered by Health & Safety. Many may have worked in a job, where you had to wear a hard hat, or even safely boots.
So pro footballers have to wear boots as part of their work gear, is there any Health or safely issues in force. Todays modern boots are not made to really protect the players feet anymore, its all about what the boot can do to the ball.
In times past boots did protect the players feet much more, but todays boots are responsible for many broken bones in the foot.
So should footballers boots have to be made to and conform to some safety code, to ensure they will offer much more protection, than they do now.?
