Don't be silly Merse ;D if I gave a very important job to someone,I believed was going to be great at the job, when he learned all he needed to do, should I just throw him in at the deep end and hope he doest drown.  That was just my 4 o'clock in the morning attempt at humour, actually I think your point is a valid one and I hope Bucks did take a few things on board from Colin Lee. In the past, OUR club has done this on several occasions............who remembers Fred Ford coming in to help Mike Hughes? Or Frank O'Farrell working in tandem with Mike Green and Bruce Rioch? Neil Warnock with Paul Compton? I think the very essence of this sort of set up being successful is for the senior man to be kept out of team tactics and selection - at least as far as the public are concerned - so as not to undermine the credibility of the young team manager. |

Well all the club needed to say was that, it felt it was so important to get straight back up to Div 2 at the fist attempt, that Colin and Paul, would be working together. That way Buckles keeps face and I do think it would have been the difference and given us more of a chance. |
