ATTENTION - THIS IS A BIG SHOUT OUT TO ALL YOU FOOTBALL NUTS OUT THERE!
For the third year in a row, I (Romford Kev) am running a football prediction competition based on many aspects of the game that we all love.
The eight sections of the competition include predicting who will finish as champions or bottom of their respective leagues, who will win the various domestic cups in both England and Scotland and World Cup qualifier score predictions to name but a few!
The competition in itself is straight forward. Each correct answer scores 1 point and the entrant with the most points at the end of the season is the winner!! (There is a tie-break to sort out any contested places).
The entry fee is ONLY £5 for the whole season and EVERY PENNY PAID IN GOES OUT IN PRIZE MONEY for the first four places.
LAST YEAR'S WINNER - PAUL DENNIS FROM NEWTON ABBOT - TOOK HOME 50% OF THE POT - A TIDY £245!!
Second, Third and Fourth banked 25%, 15% and 10% respectively.
This season it could be even more - as the number of entrants has doubled year on year and THE MORE ENTRANTS WE GET, THE BIGGER THE PRIZES!
It is often said that football is all about opinions. Why not back up your opinion(s) to the tune of £5 and, who knows, this time next season you could be quids in?!!
If you are interested in taking part, please PM me - INCLUDING YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS - and I will email you the entry form in a Word document. The form has all my contact details on - so you can either email your entry back to me or send it by post. The entry fee can be paid by cash, cheque or postal order to the address on the form.
Alternatively, I will be at Histon on August 9th to hand out entry forms in person
ALL ENTRANTS WITH AN EMAIL CONTACT ADDRESS WILL BE SENT THE "FINAL TABLE" WITH EVERYONE'S PLACINGS AT THE END OF THE SEASON.
But don't delay because the entry deadline is FRIDAY 22ND AUGUST 2008.
Don't be shy. Why not give it a go?!!
