It's seems almost impossible from our first couple of performances, but we're actually getting worse! The moment a batsman passes 20 they seem to suffer some kind of cricket tourettes, which results in holing out to the nearest fielder or running themselves out. Staggering. If you look at the age of some of the new lads brought in for England you will find they are quite young, whilst England have a couple of injury problems and had no way of winning the series to blood some youngsters in my opinion can only bode well for the future, rather than trying to save face with a win that counts for nothing I believe it more advantagous for the developing side to bring some lads on rather than the usual " lets bring back some has beens for further embarracement ", good sound logic for the future makes more sence than pointless point scoring. I feel the last game should be used wisely by England to further the experience of younger players, the series is dead so forget it and concerntrate on getting the future built! I want to watch a competition not a slaughter!

Thanks for the German lesson Aussie and CapitalGull (off to whisper to some Lipizzaners are you) and thanks you all for making me smile about a subject that really isn't pleasant.
Agree with the last that future-building is all we have left but I also feel that some young deadwood needs chopping off too. Strauss is living on borrowed time in his one-day Captaincy I hope also.
Napier, Napier, where for art thou Napier. Did he not go to the 'right' sort of school or something?? He may not be a spring-chicken but he's fitter than some of them out there (or is he injured at the moment?).
Anyway, how long do you think it will take until we have a token Englishman in the squad like Arsenal.

Won`t be long at this rate! Keep your chin up, you`ve got some good youngsters coming through like Stuart Broad, you`ll be o.k! A bit of time is all it takes.
