Anyone watch that? What a finale`! Not bragging about the win for us, it doesn`t touch the Ashes, nothing does in cricket, I just thought it was a very close thing and was quietly bricking it at the end, like the commentary team said the two teams are vey close in one day cricket and test cricket, this bodes well for the game and the competitions we play!

One more game today, leaves two left in the series, thats three to play for and four nil to us! Don`t let us white wash you, I want to save that for the next Ashes! ;D

I think the one-day games have provided a valuable lesson. The England & Wales (plus guests) management now knows their players and Captain are shizen at this form of the game. Anyway, I think it unlikely to be a whitewash - surely the weather will win one of the last three?

It`s "shissen" I think but the double s is a funny looking German character, across between an and symbol and an 8 sort of!

Scheissen actually - with a ß - let's hope I don't get to put it into use from Thursday when I'll be in Vienna.

We have been garbage at 1-day cricket for years. And although it's of minor importance compared to test cricket, it is a little annoying! We just don't seem to have a clue about how to play the game - it's not just lack of ability, it's lack of know-how.
When you start to consider the players that deserve to be dropped, it's hard to stop! We seem loathe to consistently select the players that can actually play the game - Wright and Dimi spring immediately to mind as rarely appearing in the same team. And will Napier ever be given a chance? Shah and Bopara, whilst having the necessary quality appear to lack the mental strength. Morgan deserves an extended run now. As for the bowlers, we have some that can keep the run-rate down, but those that are there to take wickets tend to go for plenty without taking any!
It's fair to assume the ICC tourny will make painful viewing.

Shah`s ok but Bopara just cannot bat, who told him he was a batsman because he clearly isn`t. I think Broad is quality and a few others are quite good but el`capitano needs to learn alot about the short game, great test captain but thats it i`m affraid Strauss is too inexperienced at ODI captaincy, still he`s not too old to learn so there is hope for him yet!

It's seems almost impossible from our first couple of performances, but we're actually getting worse! The moment a batsman passes 20 they seem to suffer some kind of cricket tourettes, which results in holing out to the nearest fielder or running themselves out. Staggering.
