To all you football enthusiasts out there!! It's that time of year again and, as some of you may know, the Football Prediction Competition 2009/10 is upon us.
This is not a fantasy football type quiz - but rather a test of your footballing knowledge and opinions!! - with the added incentive of the chance to win some cash for your troubles! So, if you think you know who will win the various domestic cups and leagues, the champions of the Bundesliga or Serie A, what the scores will be in the home nations' World Cup Qualifiers or even who will score the most league goals between Benyon and Rendell this season - then this is the competition for you! The entry fee is a mere £5 - not bad value for a competition that spans the whole of the coming season culminating with the World Cup in South Africa! The format is simple - all monies collected in entry fees are distributed in prizes - the top four being the lucky recipients (last year's winner collected a cool £215!!!). There is also a tie breaker designed to make you think as hard on it as on the questions proper! - so, make sure you don't throw your chances of a cash prize away with a guess that hasn't been carefully thought through! This competition isn't just reserved for those of you on this forum, so if you have friends, family or colleagues you think would be interested in the quiz, feel free to include them and forward on the entry slip which can be obtained from me through a PM on this forum (please include your email address)!
The more people who play, the bigger the prize fund, so the more the merrier! Entries can be returned either by email or by post to the addresses on the front of the form and the deadline for entries is 1 September 2009 - so you have plenty of time to swot up ready for the big kick-off!! Don't forget to also put your email address on the front of the form so you can receive a copy of the results when they are published after the World Cup!
So, what are you waiting for? Let's see you put your money where your mouth is, and maybe you will have bragging rights over the likes of forum favourites (!!) Merse, Dave R and the other esteemed members on the TFF! Regards Romford Kev
PS: Thank you in advance for your participation and good luck to all!!

Don't be shy TFF members........PM me for a copy of the Prediction Competition, and set that old grey matter to work on a whole host of categories and questions, spanning League, Non League, European and International football. Who knows, you could be "coining it in", come the end of the season! Prize money is divided as follows: 1st - wins 50% of the money, 2nd - wins 25%, 3rd - wins 15%, and 4th - wins 10%. Believe me, having read the posts on this forum over the last year or so, this competition really is the one for you!! Don't be scared now......you know it makes sense!!
