Looking forward to watching the highlights this evening. An excellent days cricket, and it's great to witness Anderson's continued mastery of the art of swing bowling. Add that to his great fielding and his vast improvement with the bat, and in a short space of time he's become an absolutely vital part of the side. Was home in time to watch the last few overs though, and Ian Bell is a very lucky boy! Quite how he managed to survive the most blatant LBW appeal you're ever likely to see, only Rudi K will know! Poor old Johnson - even when he does get it right he doesn't get the rewards!

Maybe it`s time English cricket grounds had roofs built over them, wonder what that would to swing bowling!

A win for Torquay coupled with a spectacular Aussie batting collapse on Satuday afternoon could make for a very special day.

For who? Only joking mate, oh and we weren`t lucky today and if the weather keeps this shit up you`ll be the lucky ones! Build bloody roofs over your cricket pitches, you know it makes sense!

Just had a phone call from Aussie, he sends his love to you all, you know he loves everyone on this forum He said he is so sorry we won't be on the forum for a while, he got a call from some bloke saying the the Aussies they brought over to play cricket, were just rubbish. Seems our Aussie was a bit of a player himself once and as the man said, you can't do any worse that that useless bunch. He has send me a picture of him all dressed and ready to take on the English. We will miss you Aussie, hurry back soon. Forgot to add he is taking the wife as well

Anyone watching today? ;D ;D ;D I think you can say that was a traditional English performance against the boys from oz. An Aussie collapse on Saturday afternoon is a bit late in the day for us. No Botham to rescue us this time. Looks like a decider at the Oval!

I`m dancing the Aboriginal rain dance come the next test! ;D ;D Apparently according to some people it`s acceptable to prey for rain! But I would rather beat you playing cricket!

Looking at your picture again on this thread aussie, it would have been safer to let you on the Plainmoor pitch at half time, with that bat, rather than the fork you kept making holes in out pitch with I think England has a tough ask ahead if you ask me
