Nothing has been "won" yet Aussie, the series is FIVE matches long. If and when we manage to achieve the object of the exercise then that will be the time to celebrate. Perhaps if Mr Flintoff had done less pissing it up on the strength of the last Ashes win, his body might have been in a better state to withstand the Test career ending injuries he now suffers from. In the meantime, onwards and (hopefully) upwards!

You just won the first game at Lords against us in 75 years, I`d consider that worthy of some sort of recognition. I know it`s early doors but you could at least smile!

What`s wrong with you lot? I would have slaughtered me by now if I was you, come on give it some, or I`ll have sod all to chuck back at you when we win! That's because we have class Aussie! Gloating is something we leave to you vulgar colonials!

Aussie, the trouble is that we are so used to England’s national sporting teams building up our hopes, only for them to be ripped away just as we start to believe big things are about to happen, Football, Rugby, Cricket even Tennis. When/if we get an unbeatable lead then you can expect to feel the full wrath of how good we are and easily we beat you, how much of a pain Ponting is and how we all laughed etc etc, However until then most of us probably still expect the Aussie’s to bounce back and slaughter us in the next test, after all you only need to draw the series to keep hold of the Ashes. Also with Flintoff a doubt for at least the next test and Pietersen, although not in any semblance of form, a doubt as well it could easily go very wrong very quickly, especially if Mitchell Johnson decides to ‘chuck it’ towards them 3 wooden things rather than spray it all over the place. ;D

Pietersen is out for the rest of the series now, so someone else is going to have to step up and be the team's big disappointment

I groan at the possible inclusion of Bell. I would much rather them play Robert Key or possibly even James Hildreth of Somerset.
I'm going to watch day 2 of the Northants V Australia match on Saturday. 12 quid is a lot more paletable than 80 quid! It's worth it to give a few Aussies a bit of stick though! Knowing my luck I'll motivate Mitchell Johnson in finding some form with the ball. Perhaps I'll be nice and quiet!

Oi Aussie - That Brett Lee's a Sheila. And what about that other one that bowls like a Sheila? Malinga! Melanie more like.

Malinga the slinga is not an Aussie mate so I fail to understand what your implying, I do however recon he is a shiela, good work with the Sledging mate your learning! ;D
