Its great to see so many joining in this seasons prediction league, but not everyone likes it and as many view the forum using the last 100 post button, I'm looking at a way to prevent the prediction posts appearing there.
The only way is to have the completions room have a password set to view it, just need to know if you will be happy to except this so we can enjoy the league without upsetting other members.

As one who doesn't want to be involved with the predictions league I would say "don't do anything regards passwords on my account" Why can't people do just as I do and scroll past postings on that? Why make work for yourself Dave, you will never please all of the people all of the time.......................no-one ever did, no-one ever will; and I as I've often said on here ~ "surely we're all old enough and big enough to........................"

I haven`t got a problem with it, I also don`t use the last 100 threads bit either, I select what I want to read according to the topic of interest at the time. I personally think that the last 100 thread bit is kind of a lazy way of checking stuff out, it`s more fun floating around aimlessly!

Aussie Lou is a little concerned that if the posts do not appear in the last 100, some may forget to put their predictions in, I will have a good chat with her soon and make a decision then. The password if used would be very simple and I expect I would put it on the front of the board so anyone could just pop it in and go in so to speak.
As I say not sure we will do this as I need to consider Lou's views as she will be doing all the very hard work running it.

Cool, I was wondering how last 100 would benifit people if it wasn`t just a lazy way of looking at the action, yet again I perform the act of severe narrow mindedness, anyone want lessons!

I don't see the need for a password section Dave - even Merse admitted it Anyone that doesn't want to see the predictions can easily scroll past them, as can I when the birthday wishes come up (bah humbug lol!!!)

Thanks Andy, It was just an idea and while I will keep the pole running for now, I will respect Lou's wishes and believe it probably won't happen.

I agree that there seems no need for a password. I think a popular thread with obver 30 replies is the same as 30 Prediction League posts, each have their own merit, interest and mostly take up the same amount of space.....
We all scroll past so i think it will work fine.
Am i too late to put my PSF Predictions in?

I voted no to passwords because adding a little hassle to something does put people off bothering and that would be a shame.
I am quite happy to scroll on by things that hold little interest to me.

Thanks Jon, I still have my thinking cap on and have put in a request for a code that might solve the problem. Not sure if it can be written, I know I can't write it ;D but will keep you informed on any progress.

i know nothing about codes and stuff but is there an option of the last 200? By default its the last ten and I can only set it up to 100 max due to load times etc, when you think about how many photos we can get on some posts you will understand the problem, anyway it would mean even more work for the overworked Dave having to make a new last 200 button. ;D
