I see the club are looking to make the stewards in house for the coming season and are looking for both men and woman to offer their services.
NVQ2 is required or you must be prepared to work to get NVQ2, I really hope there is a good take up and the club will not need to renew its contract with the Plymouth security firm.
I would say that since our new board took over from Roberts there has been on going improvements with the Plymouth stewards.
They have been so much better then the days they first took over, but having our own has surely got to be so much better.
I would think there could be a saving as well and all savings that can be made will help to keep expensive's down and this can only free up more money to be spent on the team.

if theirs enough take up good news for several reasons.
trouble is nothing will chance ,they will still have to ask you to move of the yellow steps when their is few fans around, and they will still take the bottle tops off you.
sadly a few will still not understand they are doing the job asked of them and still moan.

Why would a fan want to go to a game only to be made to wear a high viz jacket and have to face away from the ground, ie not being able to enjoy the game, the abuse alone is bad enough, ask Steve 004, where ever he has dissappeared to, the pay won`t be great either so I can`t see many at all wanting to do this job!

Its true they will not be able to see the game, they will carry out the same rules as before and this will be a money saving exercise.

I think over the last two seasons we have already seem so many changes and ones that have greatly improved the environment in the ground. yellow lines are here to stay and as much as I moan about it, I'm never going to be allowed to have a top on my bottle. You need to look back to how things were when we first got the Plymouth stewards, they were very keen to wind up and clash with home fans. Under the new board we slowly saw the changes being made, fans being given a bit more respect and just look how this forum has been able to work with Steve004 to rid the ground of the c song. No fans will not want to do the job as they will want to watch the game, but local people who are trained or willing to be trained and working under the clubs instructions will not only improve things even further, bur will save the club money.
