I'm sure Merse the memory man, could come up with a very long list, on the sick note players we have had over the years.  COUCH POTATOES Some who spring to mind were the one who must remain nameless who was "under the shrink" during my time at Plainmoor. Gerry Fell, who used to devote mornings on the couch to doing his stocks and shares. Akinfatwat who had the cheek to order the papers from the local shop to be delivered to the treatment room. O'Neil Donaldson who it is rumoured tried the couch out for size before he signed and was charge Council Tax on the Treatment Room. ....................and Carl Priso who once ran onto the pitch with the ruddy thing strapped to his back so he would feel at home! |

Thats twice in one day you have had me laughing my head of merse ;D ;D Problem is there are some waiting for the Merse V Dave R spats of old to start. Is it because we are older, or will the GOOD OLD DAYS return  |

Is Green worth a gamble? you bet he is, I was so impressed with his running into the channels, his pace and eye for a goal. He has to be kept fit, he is quality.
