When I see clubs in danger of going under, I find it hard to believe that the FA couldn't have done anything to help or do anything to stop what is being done to the clubs by people who are there just to make a quick buck or two.
What I think is that the FA should do a hell of a lot more to help clubs out, find out about people who are trying to take over clubs, look into their history, see what businesses they owned or worked for, how their businesses are doing, what there future plans are for the club, make sure they have money to invest in the long-term future of the club, make sure they are taking over the club to take out loans in the clubs name, spend the money and then leave the club in a hell of a mess; looking at closing down and out.
The FA DO NOT care about the fans one bit. If they did care about the fans of clubs then they would be doing everything in their power to stop clubs going under because of bad people and ownership. The FA keep going on about how they do care about fans, but where do they show that they care, what do they do to prove that they care about fans.
High prices to go to Wembley, I mean it was £30 quid to see my club Torquay United in the Blue Square Premier League Play-Off final. £30 quid for a non-league game, it is taking the mick. I paid the money of course but the FA are taking my loyalty and rubbing it in my face. How they went about selling the tickets as well, just over the Internet, when some people don't have the Internet and some other people prefer to go to the club to get the tickets.
The FA only care about lining their own pockets with money and jewels and not the fans.
I feel sorry for Southampton and their fans as it could have been avoided had it not been for the FA`s incompetence and failure to act upon repeated requests from fans of the club to help, to stop the rot and lend a helping hand. Isn't that what the FA is for, to help clubs in dire times, to make sure clubs are being run properly and by good people.
If the FA is not here to do that, then what are they here to do. The FA stands for Football Associations and you know what, it used to mean something. It used to mean that clubs stood together. It used to be a place where clubs could go to get help or seek advice, it was a place where fans and clubs placed confidence and when they looked at the FA they could smile and know that they were looking after the game of football and had the best interests of football i in their hearts....
....but now all people see the as is a place where people in suits go to make money; make money for the top dogs in the FA. What do you see them doing for clubs in hard times, you don't see them heading off to poor Weymouth or Southampton to help them when they are going going through hell, n , all you see them doing is putting their feet up, watching the money roll into their bank accounts and go on holidays to some private place so they don't have the people of these poor clubs going to them for help.
They are a disgrace and have lack of education about the people or people needs. The only education they had is private.
The FA, should be sacked, arrested for their cruelty to the fans and sent to prison as it is an arestable offense in some countries when they see people struggling and not do anything.
Cant the FA see that in football, their are people and clubs who cant survive without their help and something needs to be done, not next week or in a years time when clubs have gone under and disappeared forever, something needs to be done NOW. Done properly, done correctly and done with the best interest of football in their hearts
The FA can change their reputation around. I mean how good would it feel to them if they got all the rubbish in football and sorted it out so clubs can survive and flourish and fans have something to support, something they can people in again and something that rekindled their hopes of good times. How good would it feel if people actually said Thanks to the FA, my football club has survived and are now on their way up. I believe in the FA now and they are the best` how good would it feel.
Thats what the FA need to do, think of the people not their pockets. Forget all theses all-seater stadiums, their not good for the game, but stopping bad people with money on their mind from taking advantage of clubs and miss using peoples loyalty to make money.
For peoples sakes and for football sake I hope they do something now or maybe in the not to distant future their may be no more football to govern anymore.
