Whilst PB may have his critics, and i am not one of them, you have to be pleased with the squad he has now assembled.
With Hargreaves & Hodges bringing PLENTY of experience at 35 years young.
Carayol 19, Benyon, Wroe, Green & Stevens 21 or 22, Raif Gwinett 16/17??
Then the likes of Mansell, Nicholson, Todd, Brough, Sills & Thompson 26-28.
If Poke joins, he is 22.
The squad has a very balanced look to it, age wise, with a good base of youngster for PB and his team to develop. That doesn't include the possibility of any of the youth team stepping up in years to come.
With a fantastic board in place (again I'm not one of their critics) you have to feel good about the future. Dont you??
As i have said before i am a glass half full man.

I have to agree with your post, I have said before that I think we are lucky now to have such a great board. That does not mean, that I will not post my views on anything I think they may be failing on, Like I said praise where its due, but never be afraid to be critical when there is a need to be.
It is only by highlighting failings that could be addressed that changes can be made, for the benefit of the club and its fans.

In comparison to other years, last year was a good one. For that, I agree with Mr #1. Mustn't grumble and can't complain.
To be in the Conference is harder than the league in terms of moving out of it - and so, I will be happy to challenge for promotion but will not call for the board or manager's head if we fail again.
As for the old boys at 35 - I'd still run rings round them (not!). Buckle says Greavsie (sorry!) is back fitter than ever. The youngsters had better pull their socks up then! Shouldn't be upstaged by an old-timer should they?

Don't think theres much chance of that really happening. ;D
Most fans you talk too, will say we don't belong in the BSP and most really believe, that this will be our last season in it. We will have to wait and see, but like it or not failure, will get some calling for heads to roll.
I did feel that Paul should have had Colin along side him last season, Paul only in his first year was going to and did make mistakes. You can say, well thats the way you learn, from your mistakes. The problem I have with that, last season, was the one to bounce straight back from our relegation.
It do not think it correct to give a first time manager that big responsibility on his own and in his first season. Paul has now said he did learn many lessons and we will be able to judge for ourselves as the season unfolds.
Many fans getting success is all that matters (you have to wonder why they are a TUFC fan in that case) If it does not come they will look to find someone to blame at the club, but lets just hope that due to going up as champions, we will not need to worry about that happening.
