suepowell I hope this does not become to true. Eeerily similar to last season. It's how we respond to this setback that is important. But of course if you look at the last 5 games we have won just 1 drawing 2 and losing 2 following an 8 game winning streak

this coincides with hodges at the back. why persist with him when Ellis and Roberton are fit? time for change

We can look for all sorts of reasons why we have lost this game tonight, some may say its because of the Buckle/ Oxford talk, but Bucks is not out on the pitch and I'm sure the players would want to win every game, no matter what they may or may not know is going on.
I will put It down to a bad day at the office and nothing more, we will need to get back to wining ways soon, two point from nine is not the sort of form to win this league or even stay in the play offs.
Lets see what reports we get, they won't change the result but may give us clues to how we lost the game in the way we did. Sounds like we had about 100 fans at the game, very good for a Tuesday night away game with football on the TV

Defence sounded shocking. Robbo's fit and Ellis is chomping at the bit. I reckon they'll get the call up for Saturday, myself. Burton win again.

A fit Robertson should be starting, I have said it before that Bucks does not seem to want to change much from a team he put out, that had done well in the game before. The one start Ellis made some games ago, he gets man of the match, I felt then he had done enough to keep his place, maybe Bucks will see that he would be better in defense than Hodges, who has done well, but its not his natural position.

Anxious to read those reports from the people who were at Eastbourne. It sounded like they were not up for it, maybe the players thought they should win this game easy bearing in mind the second half against Cambridge...
A win on saturday would restore some confidence. That game against Histon is a MUST win, no more excuses.
Still a long way to go and lots of games to play. Keep the faith!

I think we must look at this in context - it was a match that we lost that we had some selections that some people might question - to be honest there have have been a few selections that I have questioned over the last month and we have still won most of those games!!
There will always be off-days, we have to accept that. I'm looking forward to the reports from those at the match, but to me it just sounded "one of those games" and some players were punihed for mistakes that on other days they would have gotten away with. It is difficult to tell much just by listening to the radio.
The biggest disappointment is to come back to my phone to find 9 texts from the match at 25p each (I never signed-up for the match coverage!) at a cost of £2.25 - what a waste of money!!!
Time to regroup on Saturday for the Bath game (which is important for the finances) and look to the next BSP matches, I'm glad there haven't been any hysterical reactions on this site.
