Have only just noticed that Yeoman, Charran and Westcott from the Youth team have been left out of the Youth team squad to face Oxford this morning, "in case they are needed to bolster Paul Buckle's 18 man FA Cup squad". I expect at least one of them will be on the bench, then.

Due to Robertsons Injury... Bevan, Mansell, Ellis, Woods, Hodges, Stevens, Wroe, Thompson, Carayol, Dsane, Benyon. I think he will keep Mansell in at right back, but if not then due to lack of cover maybe Thompson goes back to right back, as that was where he was successful at Crawley [correct me if I'm wrong..] and then Adams comes into midfield. That's where Thompson was playing when he got sent off for us against Crawley!

They are certainly getting stuck-in (as you would expect) but usually that's what happens in ties like this, although the ref seems quite happy to let them do this and has even TACKLED for them (maybe not intentionally tho!)
Thompson shuld have made it 2-0 but he squared to Dsane qand a fantastic tackle got it out for a corner. Thompson looking bery livrely and we'rre cranking-up the pressure. Expect more goals soon!
Their 'Keeper looks like one of the Mitchell Brothers out of Eastenders!

Yet again those cretins at the Beeb have mucked up the link...................we've had the first 15 mins of Exeter City who aren't supposed to be covered by them this season anyway!

2-0 At h/t. Thompson scoring both. Bit of a scrappy goal compared to his 1st very clean finish. This isnt like the 'banana-skin ties' of Plainmoor' last 2" or so years, we're not having to get out of 2nd gear for this, although Dsane, TT, Carayol and Wroe could have added at least 2 more with other clpse efforets. There has been only one close shave when they nearly scored, but other than that, it's been one-way traffic. Credit to theor centre-halves as they have not been bad at all.
Without being harsh on their players that are doing this for the love of the game and some pin money, their manager described some of them being more talented than our players - I can only assume that he was playing mind games / on drugs / deluded (or all 3!). We've had some tough FA Cup opponents here (Fareham, Farnboro, Harrogate, Burton, Enfield, Sutton etc) but this is more of a 'Borehamwood' display! Anyone know exactly what sort of level that they play at compared to Tivvy or AFC Wimbledon?

Ryman1 (South) is three levels below us and about the same as Tivvy, although technically their league (BGSPL) is one level higher. The big difference in my opinion is that the pace and physical presence on view gets a lot less noticeable once you drop below BSP level. From men to boys if you like!

We're definitely starting as we finished the 1st half. Their keeper has had his hands stung with a couple of shots and Woods has just volleyed-over from a corner. TT has just been thwarted by their keepr for a corner. Give it another goal (my bet is on TT to get his 3rd) and we'll see a couple of the young players get a run-out.

that feels about right Merse in terms of their level. We are certainly showing the gulf in fitness as well as skill and organisation. To be fair to them, theyz've played the game in the right spirt (no 'trying to intimidate / hack our skillful players) and have even made 2 half chances.
Poor old Roscoe has missed a very easy looking chance (maybe it wasn’t so easy in reality tho). hate to hear people barracking players though -other thant that he has been OK.
