Well the last two match day threads ended up with match postponed all over them and there was a suggestion that the snow may be coming back.
I do believe the game will go ahead this time and one would hope we will see a bigger gate, than if the game had gone ahead last Tuesday night. The team must be really waiting to get out and play a game and I see that our new striker feels the extra days he has now got in training, will help his fitness and it will help his game should he start.
Will Bucks put in straight in the team? or will he go back to having Sills and Green up front? Carlisle is bound to start as is Dsane and I do believe Woods will keep his place in the team.

I think he will go with the usual 4-4-2 home formation, with Sills and Green starting up front and Carlisle and Dsane as the two wider midfielders. Christie to be on the bench for me as I still believe Green can score a number of goals for us. That being said it sounds like Christie is very confident in his own ability and will be waiting to come on for Green if required.

Would like to see Green / Sills start up front with Christie to come on at half time / the hour mark depending on the match. Although Woods and Hodges have formed a good defensive partnership, they are not scoring the goals, particularly from set pieces that Todd, Ellis and Robertson are capable of. Therefore, instead of Woods, would be good to see either Robertson or Ellis start, particularly as their performances are up there defensively anyway. Also both players are good long term prospects for the club and regular first team football would go a long way in retaining their services. Carayol must also be in the reckoning to feature on the right wing, although must play better than his Boxing Day Effort against Weymouth which was appalling. Weymouth have lost Robinson but gained Phillips since that match and hopefully Wroe / Hargreaves can boss the midfield.

I reckon 4-4-2 as per chesney, though I can see Woods getting nudged out in favour of Robertson this time out. Is any more snow forecast for the South West? Unfortunately, I think a fit Carlisle has become immune to the chop.

Cheers Dave. Fingers crossed it's still on. We could do without a fixture pile-up. Weymouth have hit a bit of good form, helped greatly by the recent goal glut of Mr Beavon. I'm not confident about this one. The odd goal in 3 will decide it.

If this rain doesn`t stop soon and if it does go nasty again tomorrow the pitch will be a frozen mess! Can see another postponement lurking.

A very good point that Brett, but eminently too practical for the "blazers" I'm afraid who box themselves into a corner with the dates for the Wembley Play Off Final and the League AGM .................."got to look after the League AGM" - it's just like that Nationwide advert on the telly isn't it!

In which conditions will the match be played tonight? Torrential rain or a dry but freezing evening?
Will be sitting attached to the computer listening to the match commentary!

ospelgull at 4.10pm here, the sun is out but there are a few showers of rain about, I would expect it to get much colder when darkness falls.
So the game is on and we will need to play better than we did up at Weymouths ground, yes I know we won, but there was some luck to the goal by Green, as it took a big defection.
If Phillips starts he will want to make a few points to Buckle I'm sure and we also know that Beavon seems to have found some form. We will need Woods and Hodges to be at their best to keep these two from scoring and we really need to start with a good attacking line up and get control of the game early.

I'm sure Weymouth will recieve an exstatic Plainmoor welcome (if they decide to turn out tonight) from a crowd who realise that they are not alone in having financial difficulties despite what one little voice will be saying around 7.45 pm. Perhaps OUR club should leave the timer for the hot water system in the visitors' dressing room on the setting for last Tuesday's date which they wilfully sabotaged - after all, if more clubs acted like Weymouth a whole lot more clubs would be in financial difficulties too and I doubt very much they did much for OUR cash flow!

One little voice, who's opinion is worth as much as yours, even if it happens to be different

Surely, the ONLY way to "thank" Weymouth for their reluctance to turn up LAST Tuesday is to give 'em a bloody good hiding tonight.
I'd settle for 4-0, followed by ice cold showers and a polite "Now, f*** off back to Dorset!!"
....But then, TACT never was my strong point!!
