I thank you Now I've been told that Kempton Park has deferred today's meeting by 24 hours to tomorrow AND the Aon Chase (from Newbury) has been added to make an 8 race card. - IF it passes an 8am inspection. Here's hoping, you can't beat wrapping up in flat cap, muffler gloves and trench coat; two pairs of fishing socks and thermal Doctor Martens and watching the breath freeze in front of your eyes as the gee gees race around the frozen lake at Kempton! ............."come on my son!"

Dave R,
Where did you read that Torquay United "have taken the decision not to travel"?

Khilllegend (and how he is) and Dave R.
The point I am trying to make is that our Club have NOT refused to attend the game! The decision taken to call the match off is undoubtedly correct, and credit to both clubs for being sensible, but the circumstances are not anywhere near similar to the Weymouth debacle.

tqriviera you are correct and my post was more tongue in cheek and directed at my good mate merse, who like many disagree with my views on the events on Tuesday.
