Now out of the only two cup competitions that really mattered,we now only have our league ambitions to concentrate on and try and push on for the one thing we all want more than anything else, promotion back to the football league.
Its my view that we really need to stop playing just one up front and need to put out more attacking lines ups and green must be put back up front with Sills. Weymouth were I felt slightly the better team when we played them away and may feel they should have got something from that game.
It should be a good game but with the weather forecast stating we are in for a really cold spell, the gate may struggle to get over the 2000 mark.lets hope for a good win and one that will get our second half of the season push fully rolling.

Personally, would like to see an attacking 4-4-2 formation with Green and Sills up front. If Carlisle is still ill, think maybe Carayol deserves another chance to start although he did have a shocker on Boxing Day Hopefully, a performance along the line of Histon, Stevenage, Mansfield as well as the FA Cup matches this month.

4-3-3 Robertson in for Woods. Wroe, Adams and Hargreaves in the middle. Christie, Sills and Dsane up front.

Woods will not be dropped, he has been playing so well this season and a few mistakes in such windy conditions at Southport, would not be a good enough reason for Bucks to drop him. Where is the width in your midfield, having Sills and Christie up front is fine, but i would expect that Christie would like good balls put in from out wide just like Sills does, as I'm sure he must get his fair share of headed goals. If Carlisle is fit the line up will be the same as most games recently(not the last two) and Dsane and Carlisle will be out wide and Green may start or if not then Christie will do in his place.

You didn't comment on it when I had Green in for Christie initially, Dave. I have, perhaps wrongly, assumed Carlisle won't be fit.

I must confess I missed it before Rob, I don't want you thinking I have only now made a comment as you have edited the post and replaced my beloved Green maybe you have it in your head that I'm a Green lover, but I can't think where you would get such an idea

I am concerned you might end up stalking him. ;D

Just walked past the ground and it is white not green, the guy I spoke to who was looking at the pitch said the ground was very hard, it`s going to snow again a little bit then rain or sleet this afternoon, if the pitch does thaw out during the day it will probably refreeze when the temperature drops tonight! Don`t get too exited about the game going ahead!

I can't see this game going ahead tonight. It's a bit of a disappointment as I've never seen a match with the old skool orange ball played on snow at Plainmoor - I have a feeling I never will!
I would think that the attendance would be affected badly as well - I'm not sure that I would risk driving a long distance over potentially frozen roads to watch the match if I was exiled.
