Not sure if any members are going to this match, but will put up a match thread as we may get a match report or two. I hope some one will know the rules as to who we can play in this game, but you would expect that as many fringe players as possible will be given a game at last to play.
I'm a bit surprised we have not arranged any friendlies lately, so we can give the likes of Ellis and Adams etc some competitive games. Not sure how Bucks will see the game, but I would expect winning it may not be top of the list.

I am led to believe that Chris Todd will be making his return to competitive football against Cullompton as well, so that might put a few dozen on the crowd.

I'm planning to go but - given Speed Meadow's record with postponements - any frost or rain and it'll be off.
I believe we can play anyone we like in this competition - from Kaka to Clint Boulton - provided he has his club's permission (in the case of a triallist), has international clearance or hasn't played for another club in this season's competition (Buckland, Dawlish, Dartmouth, NA Spurs, etc).
In the past I've been given the impression this rule extends to other Devon competitions - such as the Devon Premier Cup (which includes Galmpton, Totnes & Dartington, Teignmouth, etc) - but, if this is true, it's been disregarded in recent seasons when we've fielded players from local clubs. On this basis, I was told Antony Lynch was ineligible when he played for us in a final in the late 1990s. Best keep that quiet because we don't want a trophy struck off....
