Although it was forecast to be cold that night, (and it was), i heard that they were keen to have the match played during a week when we we didn't have a game, increasing the chances of more of the 'first' team players taking part. This would have made the game more appealing, more people would have gone, bigger crowd = more money, so you cant really blame them. Besides, Tuesdays result was unlikely to increase the appeal of the game. |
