While some feel concerned about our home form, this game is a game I think we would expect to win and if we did we would have taken 13 points out of the last 15 on offer, a return that no one can really complain about.
Sills it seems will be out for a while and as I have not heard anything that Green is injured, I would expect to see him start again with Benyon, we will put Greens substitution on Tuesday night as an inspired one made by Paul Buckle.
It did state that Woods was not in the squad due to a knee problem, but there are rumblings that Bucks is not playing him after telling him his contract will not be renewed at the end of the season. I will only post my views on this if and when I hear some facts, as I'm only really interested in seeing a good team out on the pitch that will win this match.
Robertson has been doing well and as Ellis gave a man of the match performance, he deserves to keep his place in the side anyway. The only real question is will Bucks start with Carlisle, or use him as the super sub he has been in recent games.
I can see us winning by two clear goals and will give the crowd as being 2104

I think you will be surprised how many they will bring considering the distance. So you can add 100 or so to the 04. Will be more than what Rushden or Altrincham brought on a saturday.
As for the game its typical Torquay, three points away from home and then a nother home game without a win. i can see a 1-1 draw with us battering them for a winner but a complete wall of Barrow players keeping us out.

I am looking forward to this match as it takes me back a long way. My first ever match at Plainmoor when I was a boy was Torquay v. Barrow ! I do have a bit of a confession to make as well. Barrow was one of the teams I followed. I felt sorry for them as they were always around the bottom of the league. (So nothing has changed there then over the years). When the Torquay v. Barrow fixture came around my elder sister offered to take me to the match so I could see my team, Barrow !
I still remember the game well. I was stood at the front of the Mini Stand and Barrow played in all red, like Liverpool, and their keeper wore a green top (I suppose they all did then). Barrow took the lead to a deadly silence towards the Mini Stand end in the first half, and my sister and her friends suggested I cheer. Torquay mounted several attacks in the second half and equalised, and the game finished 1-1. I remember being really impressed with the noise from the Mini Stand coming from behind me, especially when Torquay scored.
I believe the game was around 1968 and I would be curious if someone could confirm this. I was born in 1962 by the way. It can't have been much longer before Barrow went out of the football league.
You will be relieved to hear that that was the one and only match I haven't supported Torquay when I've seen them, and my past sentiments won't affect my support for The Gulls on Saturday. Saying that, it would be nice if Barrow stayed up this season.

Thanks treetopsringwood for that, I was hoping some kind person would tell me. So it was 1970 when I was nearly 8 I saw my first ever Torquay match. No wonder the crowd seemed loud then, those crowds you listed were amazing.

It will be interesting to see if Buckle persists with a 3-5-2 type formation at home or revert to 4-4-2 and bring back Carlisle. Hopefully Sills will be back next Saturday

I think the most exciting aspect of the day may very well be the match ball sponsor!!

Fair comment, we can only hope for the best but a prolonged absence would be a bitter blow. The only positive would be better that he is injured now rather than for the play offs (assuming we get there!) Any medical updates anyone?

Then we could get Stuart Fleetwood on loan until the end of the season ? Been out on loan at Cheltenham and Brighton this season already and last played a first team game whilst at the Seagulls at the end of January. Not been in prolific scoring form at his loan clubs though and can't get near the starting lineup for the Championship's worst performing club Charlton by a country mile. Something to prove at Plainmoor after last season eh?
