Well 45 mins gone and no goals, lets see what the second half brings Andy I would add that we have had chances in the first half, no none went in, but its only a matter of time. I would be more worried if we were not creating chances. Benyon sounds like he is playing well, we do have Green, who could come on, so I still think we will score in the second half. |

DT sounds surprised these changes have been made, thought nothing needed fixing

1-1.............IF you don't take your chances! One game does not make a season Andy, I always think its two points dropped when you let in such a late goal. I will wait and see what those at the match have to say, but still not to concerned yet about goals scored. |

full time 1-1, suspect substitutions. 2 points thrown away at the end. That was not the view of Dave Thomas, who felt that we looked no weaker after the substitutions. It seems Histon upped it a gear and maybe we just sat back a little towards the end. |

Paul Buckle sounded very upbeat on the radio and it did sound like we played very well for most of the match. lets hope we get a good result on Tuesday as Wrexham has really shown their intent and we can't afford to let them get to far in front.

One real worry is the, apparent, strength of Wrexham. I know its early but they had a really decent pre season and now, have beaten the promotion favourites by a mere 5 goal margin!
I was abit negative straight after listening to the match, on reflection, I dont think it is the worst result in the world as we, at least, picked up a point away from home. Furthermore, After the first game of the season I dont want to get to negative, as Im sure most fans wont. After all, we are one of the promotion favourites. I think we need to see where we are after 6 or 7 games and this should give us an idea about our promotion prospects this season.

No one likes losing a game and after waiting for the season to start, it was a bit of a let down when we let the late goal in. Being a fan is never easy at clubs like ours, we have to take disappointments on the chin and look forward to the next game. We have no given right to win games or the league, but as long as players give their all and try their hardest, that is all we can ask of them, its very early days, see where we are after 10 games. |
