What start this thread aussie? because if I'm honest I wish you had not mate, I made a post about the forums upcoming birthday and said how pleased I was we had all moved on and now just concerned ourselves with what happened on this forum.

As you have made a few points I will give my take on them. When I heard that Sally had left and this was on the Tuesday night two days before it appeared in the paper, I waited until the next night( the legends night )and asked Alex Rowe what the score was.

He was well aware I run this forum and could have told me its none of by business, he could have been honest, or he could have spun me a yarn. What he did do was tell me just how it was and there was nothing sinister, or underhand, Sally had simply decided to leave.

On the money front, while I would have thought things would have been very tight last season and we may have even made a lose, but I do not know if that is the case, the club will be £600.000 better of this season just by going up.

I'm sure the gates will go up this season and while we may have to pay a few new players a sightly better wage, I really can't see that the club will be cash strapped and be looking to make big cutbacks.

As I said I do not know any figures and I base my views only looking from the outside, but I'm sure that if the club had moved anyone on, it would only be because they felt the saved money could be better spent on maybe the team.
