:DHello everyone again. At the end of the game at Wembley, last Sunday, Tim told me that he was going to give his signed matchboots to Lewis. This was a magnificent gesture by Tim and after giving it careful thought and talking it through with Lew, I have sent a suggestion to the Club that if Tim is in agreement and that the Club can make the necessary arrangements, the boots might be raffled to fans of the club and that Lewis could pick the winner at either a pre-season friendly or the first home game of the new season.
The proceeds of the raffle would be donated to CLIC Sargent who support the children and families affected by cancer and leukaemia.
I am hoping that the club will respond positively after consultation with Tim and this might all be possible. We are actively supporting CLIC and both Lewis and his sister Amber will be taking part in the Torbay Fun Run on 21st June to raise awareness and sponsorship for this fantastic organisation. The club is also very active in raising funds for Leukaemia support.
Another possible idea is that other players might donate other personal items such as socks, caps etc to further support the draw, with Tims Boots as the main prize. I havent put this to the club yet, as I want to await their initial response to my main suggestion. I will keep you all posted of any developments.

What a man amoung men your young fella is graystar, the thought of giving a most prized gift to benifit others is without doubt a most incredible gift of giving that a youngster could make. I suspect it will be a terrific fund raiser , and if others from the team join in then CLIC will be the proud receipiants of a most rewarding gift from your "big" man.

Thanks guys, glad you think this is a good idea. We think the club will be supportive. Will hopefully have a better perspective on things this week. Thanks for all your kind comments.
