Just seems to me to be a very convincing post that could almost suggest the best player this year beyond a doubt is Tarzan, so please explain to me how Steve Woods got player of the year! I did have a look over at the reactions when Woodsie received his award. Bucks clapped enthusiastically and smiled. Hargreaves stood with his arms crossed. I was 50/50 between Hargreaves and Sills - as I had been last year. Last time I voted Hargreaves, this time I voted Sills. Hargreaves has been so inspirational since the vote, that I think now I would go for him instead. |

Greavsy has evidently retired from the game according to a reporter on the Setanta Football show last night. They showed a clip of the Wembley goals and discussed the match and Greavsy in particular and the reporter guy on the panel of three with Les Ferdinand said he would not be playing again. He seemed to know Hargreaves quite well and was quite certain that was his last game for us as he was going to retire. I think the constant mentions of how his family have made sacrifices and how he doesn't see enough of his kids is another reason, apart from his age. I'll be very sorry to see him go, and it will be difficult to find a replacement. |

One of the funniest things I've seen for a while in football was in the 'disciplined' Torquay dressing room after the Histon semi final win when Rebecca the setanta presenter was interviewing Bucks.Tthe team were sitting around & Hargreaves was in the background flexing his pecs up & down. Brilliant...if anybody could do a copy or you tube & post?
