Who says they haven't?
It may be that our board rate our manager more highly and refused?
Even if it isn't the case, why on earth does it matter? I was actually going to write a long post about your relentless negativity towards Buckle, but I think you're doing a good enough job of making that viewpoint seem utterly ridiculous yourself.

Wonder where he's off to. Wonder why they haven't approached us for buckle. Perhaps they have and the board told them to stick it? I think it would be unwise for Paul to leave the club in its present state... this is the crest of one of those waves Merse talked about. He needs to hang ten, ride in the blue room and then get signed up to something bigger... or take us there of course. Hey, that reminds me, surf season's upon us... Chris Hargreaves get your caravan fired up!

Cheers, usual location I expect, watch Nick "The Creep" Bye join the band wagon. Nothing out of him about us at all and you watch who`s there for the party, he is a parasite!

Dave Shaw, or davethegull or ? (sorry I have forgotten the other account you opened on the forum) I really no longer believe you are for real.
When you joined it was clear you were completely anti-Buckle, but as this forum allows you have you own views and post them, it was happy to let you carry on as long as your posts were decent and not rude in anyway to anyone who disagreed with you.
As you rightly say forums are places to air your views and a place where people will have different views from others and will rightly put their views forward and stick with them, or admit they got it wrong should that be the case.
From the very start all we heard from you was that Buckle had not got the balls, he will never take TUFC back into the league, yet you were also saying you would be over the moon to be proved wrong.
You got a few replies you did not like and unlike everyone else on here, you could not stand the heat when it came your way and then went and deleted your account on here. I did not feel you had any need to do that, from my point of view as long as you truly believed what you were posting, then your posts would remain on the forum.
As I said a while ago, I lost some respect for you and simply because you opened a new account and hid behind a new user name, only to make yet another anti-Buckle post.
I only ousted you at that time as it really is not the done thing on a forum, if you have got something wrong thats fine, we all make mistakes get things wrong, but we are all big enough on here to put our hands up and say so.
So you got a bit more stick again and then deleted account number two, only to open another account as Dave the gull. Funny thing was I did not know it was you again, I just happened to make a post at that time and put something in my post about you.
You must have thought I knew you were a member again as you came out and said who you were, implying I already knew. You did say you came back this time to be a part of the celebrations, are you really sure that was the reason?
I only ask as It seems to me Buckle taking the team up really has stuck in your throat, because he has shown he has got the balls has got us up when you said he would not.
Why can't you just this once put your hand up and say you got it wrong, say a big well done to the man who did get the team out of the league you were so happy to call a pub league.
Do you really believe fans care if we went up as champions, or by the play-offs? you won't find one who does care Dave, everyone is frilled to bits to tell anyone who will listen that their team TUFC, is now once again a proud league team.
I hope you take my remarks to you the right way and not throw YOUR toys out of the pram again and delete account number three. All you do is leave posts on this forum that show they were only made by a guest, if you do leave try coming back as Dave Shaw, that way all the posts made in that name will be picked up again and show on the forum that you made them.
Enjoy this great moment in our history Dave, Oxford, Wrexham and other ex league clubs are still trying to get out of the BSP and may well be for many years to come. We have done it so bloody well start smiling and please stop looking to pick faults.
Except the fact that in only his second season, Buckle has done what some managers never ever achieve and that is to win promotion, thats what he has done so give praise where it is due.

Don't waste anymore time or effort Dave. Do not let Mr Shaw spoil the day for anyone other than himself. I don't think Paul Buckle will loose any sleep over Mr Shaw's opinion. As 'davethegull' himself said on the topic he himself started, namely Ermmm....
" Anyway who cares what I think........................ "

Just for you then Dave.
I am delighted and thrilled we are back in the football league. Congratulations is due to the Board, staff (including PB), players and fans.
As for PB. I've already stated that his preparation for this game was spot on. I was impressed by the way he kept the focus on the game in a single-minded fashion. Does that mean i'm turning a corner regarding him........maybe. However i would say his mistakes this season nearly cost us. Thankfully he got a reprieve and got us up thro the playoffs after nearly blowing it.
But we're up and that's really all that matters. The man who really deserves all the plaudits is Colin Lee.

Please enlighten me Dave as to what Colin Lee has done to receive all the plaudits? I believe he has had very little to do with the team and Buckle was left to get on with things. Anyway thanks for your much more positive post as we really should be just celebrating and not caring how or why we have gone up only that we have. Far to many seasons have ended in real tears of sorrow Dave, my point really was that for once we have tears of joy, so lets just enjoy them as this is TUFC and we know from experience they can always turn to tears of sorrow again.

It was Colin who got Paul in, so by crediting Colin, Dave therefore is automatically crediting King Paul. And lets hope this Joy woman keeps crying, tears of Joy should be bottled!

It's a bit rich Cambridge Chairman George rolls banging on about "expecting some loyalty from Gary Brabin".This is the same George Rolls who sacked Jimmy Quinn after last season's narrow miss at Wembley. The same George Rolls who Barry Fry labelled "the worst man I have ever had the misfortune to try to do business with" following his procrastinating over the loan of Mark Rendell. The same George Rolls who was seeking the advice of other BSP chairmen over a possible replacement for Brabin (less than six months after his appointment) following OUR victory at the Shabby earlier in the season. Back stabbers like Rolls are dangerous guys to work for and Brabin is streetwise and no fool. If he gets a better offer to work near to his Liverpool home from Blackpool he will take it..............but then he will be working for Carl Oyston. Out of the frying pan and into the fire I'd say!
