I see that CH mentioned on his blog that he got a good luck message on his jacket today.
Anyone else got something to report that might give us a clue for the result on Sunday? Maybe you have examined the entrails of next door's cat?
One thing I have noticed is that a declared runner in the 2.30 at Bath on Monday is "Buckle Up".

Maybe you have examined the entrails of next door's cat? ;D Even with the beer I took amusement from that. Safe to say that if I'd been drinking coffee at work on a Monday morning I'd have involuntarily spat it all over the monitor.

Well, the wife has gone to Temple this morning. On the list of things for her to ask Buddhha for is a Torquay win. She hasn't got a clue why and cares even less but she will do it. So with the fat guy on our side how can we lose?( Buddha that is, not merse)

light bulb just exploded in the lounge!! is it a sign?? No it's called clutching at straws, like the Aetheist suddenly "finding God" on his death bed. Calvin's just sickied down me Gulls shirt (which I've never worn to a game before) so it might be a "sign" more likely a "stain" though ;D and it's helped me keep a perspective on things. Our Sky Box "died" yesterday and we've kindly been given a "FreeView" box by that nice girl next door ~ will the missus be able to watch Setanta on it? Haven't a clue, she's got more techno brains than I so I'll leave her to it. Leaving now for "Cafe 66"................more clutching at straws for us CGs who used it before that epic at Barnet when it worked the oracle (well 66 WAS a great year for England, Torquay and St Frank was it not?) but as for OUR most important game? I must disagree, I think the impending doom of relegation was far more a threat to us than failing to go up today and as I see it from a playing point of view the BSP is higher profile than League 2 anyday....................but I'll still be totally distraught if we lose and ridiculously elated if we win. What's this "IF" we win? We'll win alright, you read it here The Buddha told you!

My kitchen's full of empty bottles; surely that's some sort of sign.
I think I predict a bacon sandwich; after that, we'll see..

I thought I had a bad omen this morning and decided not to put it up on the forum.
I did not check the forum emails last night and when I did this morning I had received one last night from Grahame. He had sent me a picture to put up on the match thread, only he must have just clicked COPY on the file and all I got was a shortcut to the file.
It was a picture taken yesterday, Lewis and his sister with Tim Sills on the team bus before the players set of for London. Lewis and his family traveled up today on the staff coach
When Grahame sends it I will put it up and all the other photos that have been taken of Lewis at Wembley. I will do a new thread just about Lewis and will get Lewis to share his thoughts on the day and the game.
