Well by now you all know who won what and it was no real surprise who the supporters voted as their player of the season.

The result in reverse order was

3rd Lee Mansell, 2nd Tim Sills and the winner was Steve Woods.

Lee was unable to attend to collect his award and Captain Hargreaves accepted it on his behalf

Players player was the man who won on our vote on this forum Nicky Rowe

I would like to see the actual number of votes each player received.

It would be good if the club published them. There is a very good reason that i ask this and believe that if they were released it 'might' possibly throw more light on the situation and show how much of a farce the actual vote was.

Whilst no one from the club presented the award, it wasn't mentioned that just about the whole squad was there to witness it. I watched Paul Buckles reaction and he gave Woods a warm round of applause, which couldn't be said of some of the players.
