In an attempt to try and move the forum on from all the ticket talk, I ask do you have a tale from a previous trip to a match at Wembley?
Maybe your car or coach broke down on the way there, or on the way home, maybe something happened before, during or after the match.
On event I will never forget happened in the 1991 play-off final against Blackpool and its the only time anything like this has ever happened before at a game I have been to at Wembley.
My fist real games there where the two milk cup final games I went to, one was QPR v Oxford and the other Norwich v Sunderland. I do remember from those games seeing fighting high up in the old wembley terraces during the game, but never saw any problems after those matches outside the stadium.
So I was shocked what happened to my best mate at that time as we looked in vain to find our coach in the car park. Most will know that the coaches are parked in rows and at big games there are hundreds of them.
You start walking between the coaches and just hope you will see the one you came on, but it turns out not to be any easy task. I had young Ant with me and as I said my mate Brian, we had been looking for sometime with no luck.
Then Brian went a bit in front of me and Ant and turned between yet another two coaches to walk up that row in the hope our coach might be in that row. Just as Ant and I were about to turn between the same two coaches, Brian came flying out backward and landed on the floor.
He had only walked into a group of not to friendly Blackpool's fans coming the other way, he had been hit full in the face. I was trying to protect Ant and also get to help my mate, fortunately they just carried on walking down the next row.
The good news he was fine just a bit sore and on the trip home(yes we did find the coach in the end) it was all smile and happiness, as we were going up and nothing was ever going to be allowed to spoil such a great day.
So what has happpend to you?
