I've never taken WSC, but if that's the level of article, I think I might give it a go. Particularly impressed with your musings on Roberts in the January, Barton.

I was using another computer today and used Google to find the Torquay Fans Forum. In doing so I came across a few ramblings from the past. It's amazing what you find on the web these days And then I Googled Nick House! I was using another computer today and used Google to find the Torquay Fans Forum. In doing so I came across a few ramblings from the past. It's amazing what you find on the web these days And then I Googled Nick House! Vanity was only the second stage, Harrogate! Because one of the articles contains the words "Torquay", "fans" and "forum" it did come up on the initial Google search. Honest. Mind you, I'll be trying it again in a few months time in the hope they've added some more as they go backwards through the archives. |

Cheers, Harrogate. Here's another - an attempt at a "potted history" of the club in a few hundred words which appeared in The Half-Decent Football Book. I'm now aware the derogatory Exonian term is " chipnicker" (rather than "chipeater"); not sure about Jim McNichol as a midfielder and I know that Pat Kruse's own goal wasn't in an evening kick-off (but that's space restrictions and editors for you).     |
