Hello all. As a big gulls fan living in Leicester I have always tried to get to as many games as possible, obviously home games are few and far between, but over the years there have been many away games i have managed to attend. This brings me to the biggie, Wembley, and all the joy this will bring us. I'm wondering if there is anyone on this forum who, like me is an "exile", and is travelling down and back on the day of the game, but is willing to share the journey/experience (and expenses of course). So if there is a person/s coming past or near Leicester I would much appreciate hearing from you. Otherwise it's a long lonely solo drive....

Yup. Have booked the flight and bought the Wembley tickets (for one of my sisters and brother too) and am looking forward to it. So I won't be on Yahoo Gray! Will you miss me?
Well, if I can make it from Japan hopefully a few will travel from Torquay, Leicester etc
I won't be travelling down and back on game day though! That would be a bit too much...so will be heading down to Torquay for the promotion parade...should we get promoted of course...

Luck of the Irish! Hope so. I stepped off the plane into Japan in 1990 and their economic bubble promptly burst. Decided in 1997 to try my luck building a business in Thailand, and their economy collapsed too.
Have been back in stgnant Japan ever since and I believe there are international negotiations taking place to see who will have me next. The Japanese government is rumoured to be offering something close to the US bailout funds to any country that will take me!
Hmmm...maybe I shouldn't be going to Wembley after all!

I'm sure I've had worse! Will be visiting Thailand on the way back - often get the 'trots' after 'pigging' out on spicy food and 'swilling' too many lagers...

Well Rattz, I believe Aussie was referring to the UK where the only increase has been muslims. So not me!
Japan is experiencing a fast declining birthrate, despite my best efforts of course!
Japan has actually been 'importing' S. Americans of Japanese decent - especially from Peru - to make up the numbers. But with the economy so sour they are offering them money to go back now.
I wonder if they will let me back in after my trip?
