Mersey, for someone who has jumped down the throat of anybody who has dared to call this league exactly what it is. That is a Sh1t, Pox, Mickey Mouse and of course PUB league. You make our case very well. So, which side of the fence are you on Mersey? I'm a tad confused. #cavalries# I unequivocally put my stance on her for you Dave: On matters of administration, average standard of match officials = a CRAP league! On playing standards, standards of team management and professionalism from the players = A very good league and certainly no "pub league" as you alluded to as a means of finding fault with OUR manager's "failure" to put us into a runaway leading position by Christmas! On general ground facilities and a willingness to welcome and look after the travelling fan = At it's best very good and a lot better than many League 2 clubs. At it's worst, dreadful and I'm talking about the happily departed Woking, falling apart Ebbsfleet and rip off merchants Histon for their bare faced upping of prices for the play off and refusal to seat children and senior citizens at concessionary prices. Surely I've made myself clear for you Dave?

I now know that our tickets are in Block 222 - some of the Club Wembley middle ring.
I'm astonished since these are debenture seats - perhaps they've finally got the ticket resale system up and running so the prawn sandwich brigade can get some money back by making their seats available to us?
It's one of the few parts of the stadium I've yet to watch a match from, so I'm really looking forward to it.

But the Million Dollar Question is Alex, "how much of the second half will you miss as opposed to the first halves you sometimes do mate?"

Yes merse you've made it clear. On balance you're saying it is a crap league with a few decent teams in it. I agree.
We can have a discussion about what constitutes decent teams after this season is over. True there is some dross in the leagues above. When we debate it will hopefully be back in the fully professional league. As in not half part time, played in pub car parks and crowds (LOL).

As for part time only a third of the clubs were classed as part time and one of then won it! Then there was Weymouth who became "part time" in that they only turned up part of the time, and Ebbsfleet have just informed their manager that he has a budget of only 5K a week for next season which will force them part time. I wouldn't call any of the grounds sub standard apart from Histon, Ebbsfleet, and to an extent; Salisbury whilst Hayes and Yeading's Church Road certainly won't impress many visitors. Certainly in League 2 there are "grounds for concern" at Macclesfield, and Accrington and at least in League 2 there is the possibility of more travelling fans coming to Plainmoor than is the norm in the BSP.

With all the problems fans have had, you wonder why a simple task that has been carried out for years, gets mucked up by so called progress. look at this document and you will see how easy it was to get tickets in 1989, our first trip to Wembley.

Does anyone know how many tickets "at this moment" have been sold to Torquay United Supporters? Somebody on .net claims to have been up to Plainmoor and has been informed that approx 12000 have now been sold by 1400hrs..not a bad effort if correct.

I see Burnley are the latest club to be screwed over by Wembley and their ticketing fiasco department, having sent them a batch of tickets for sale at Turf Moor for section 123.
Anyone who remembers what we went through will remember that section 123 is the segregated section, left empty, between the two sets of fans.
Now it is Burnley who have to spend man hours getting in touch with all the people who bought tickets in that section to give them a new ticket, or those who bought them to queue up at Wembley and get them replaced!!
I hate to think how they will cope with 37,000 Millwall fans there on Wembley - wonder if they will be taking over the Green Man as well?
