HELP!! I have now done 2 road planners
AA - M5-M4-M25-A1M etc or Greenflag - M5-M42-M6-A14
AA is shorter but have the dreaded M25 or a slightly longer but easier for navigating and signage.
I'm thinking via the midlands as a better bet. What is everyone else doing. Also ant idea's for parking when we roll into town (village) Everyone meeting at the Railway Vue Pub then??

I stayed in a B&B just down the road in Cambridge last year and the proprietor - who regularly travels to Cornwall - reckons the Midlands route is usually the best.
Unless you fancy the scenic route across the Cotswolds of course!
Or you can go one way - and back the other - and count the counties.

Having spent years going from Devon to Cambridge and back, I'd definitely advise the midlands route. The M25 one is slightly faster when all goes well, but it's much less reliable.

Cheers guys that what I was thinking of doing. I'll stick to the same route back as I'm not into counting counties, and I certainly hope I'm not counting sheep either.
