On sat I had to go up to somerset to arrange for a marquee for the small festival I arrange (remember kids - let me know if you want to come along, £20 an invite for two days of top quality music - and me!)Just PM me if you are interested , invites going fast.
Anyway , Myself and a friend thought we would make a day of it and watch Yeovil play Hartlepool. We sat in the away end ( I say sat - what I really mean is I stood next to a broken chair ).
The game was a good one with 5 goals, a pen and a dodgy offside given (just what you want when you are essentially neutral), However my lasting memory of the game was the cracking songs the Pool sang, My favorite was to the tune of "tie me kangaroo down sport"
It went "we don't care about Darlo"......."we don't care about Leeds"........."all we care about is HUFC". they sang for about 15 mins and clapped along. It was very impressive.
It got me thinking that we should try and plagiarize this song and make it a Plainmoor favourite.
My thoughts are this........ "we don't care about City"....."we don't care about Greens" ........"all we care about is TUFC"
What do you think people?? Could we make this our own??
