I notice that Raiff Gwinnett made his debut for Weymouth yesterday. Following in his father's footsteps...

He was on a season-long loan at Tiverton Town from us. In pre-season he only made the bench against Tiverton Town, though he did feature in the Errea Tournament in Bideford.
Paul Buckle signed him from Exeter City Youth team on a YTS contract at the start of last season and was given a Proper Contract last summer.
He`s a great lad and a great mate. Buckle sent him out on loan at Tivvy with the view to getting more games. In January he moved back to Exeter City due to his family live in Exeter and other reasons.
I dont believe he was given enough credit when he was here. He tried his best, played for the youth team, went on loan and played got Torquay United even though his dad is Goalkeeping coach at Exeter City and that is an arwkward position to be in.
I really hope he makes it and I am certain he will make it as a top pro. Hes got the attitude and I know the ability to make it.

I'm sorry Joe, his attitude stinks. Me & my mate was at Bideford pre-season against Yeovil & he refused to warm up with the team when he was told he was a sub. We just said to each other how we would do anything to wear the shirt & he threw his toys out of the pram, his lack of respect for Matt Williams that night was shocking & it took his Dad to come up to him during the warm up when he was sulking to get him involved again

I seem to remember reading recently about an ex star commenting about his discust in the performances and efforts by younger footballers as he said " all they care about is how they look and if they put enough gel in their hair " , not to mention the flashy boots and the velcro ankle ties, pussys the lot of them!

I'm really good friends with raiff as i'm his sponsor believe it or not! he didn't want to leave tufc due to his girlfriend, and as his old man is goalkeeping coach at city he went there for a bit, then tivvy, now where he is good luck to him xxx And yes he does sulk if he doesn't play!
