This really is a great offer though still uncertain of what will happen if the magic figure isn't reached. I have worked it out as roughly ten free home games so if can you see yourself attending at least 13 matches you will be in pocket. For many £199 is still a large sum of money for many to stump up in one go but tucked just under the £200 mark anyone who attends, even on a fairly occasional basis would be well in pocket. I hope the club clarify what happens if the numbers aren't reached but I would guess we would all be refunded the £199 and start again from scratch. For the first time in over 40 years of support it looks like i will purchasing a season ticket. A big well done to the club who have obviously carefully weighed up the benefits of this discount both for the club and the supporters who want to do a bit more.

I was just about to ask the question how it works Pete, as the tickets are now on sale the only information I can find is that if the magic 650 is not reached, then prices will revert to the normal price, IE £300 for the popside.
I do think it needs explaining better, but I'm sure it won't be an issue as the figure should go above the 650 one would think.

Just had this email back from the club.
Hello Peter, We are very confident of reaching the 650 mark, sales have been very sprightly on the first day! If we got close to the figure I'm sure the club would not penalise those of you that have supported the club by taking up the offer. If the price was to rise then you would be entitled to a refund of your £199 if you so wished. I hope this is of some help. Kind Regards Darryl Haggan Torquay United FC

I am very pleased to read on the club website that the club is bending over backwards to make it easy for people to commit to a season ticket.
There will be a booth inside the Popside entrance that will accept cash, cheque or card payments.
Never underestimate how many people trip through life doing things that are under their nose and not doing things that are not - like walking a couple of hundred yards to the office.
I would imagine that quite a few people will pick up a season ticket because it is made easy for them who might very well have intended to get a season ticket but never got round to it.
Hats off to the club for realising this and taking positive action. I remember making similar points about the need to make obtaining tickets more convenient at fans' forums in the past - to no avail!
Let's hope that all the steps that are being taken to improve our club - both the big things and the little things - receive the reponse they deserve.

I brought my season ticket today - my first ever ! I asked how the sales are going and the reply I got is that the season ticket sales are creeping up and they are confident of making the 650. This special deal is very much Colin Lee's initiative by the way. I was impressed with the service I got, I even went to the Family Stand and chose my seat. So watch out Crispy Gull next season, I won't be far away !

Does anyone know if you can purchase on-line / by phone?
Can't make the game today otherwise I would have purchased face-to-face.

On dot com - 650 target has been hit! Considering around 500 had been sold at the weekend, there seems to have been a late surge in the last couple of days for some reason

Well done to the Club on such a good offer. Nice bit of wedge to go towards a few signing on fees over the summer!

Cracking offer from the club and it's good to see it got the response it deserved. I would have definitely been purchased 2 season tickets ... his and hers!! ... if I'd lived closer.
Still a bit of time left for those that want to get the special offer price.

With all the excitement of our trip to Wembley it's important that anyone who hasn't obtained the reduced price season ticket and is still contemplating it to remember, you need to get in by the friday before the play-off final... the 15th of May. So don't wait to see how the result goes for us... get in there and take up this fantastic offer while there's still the chance!! With the magic number reached this is a guaranteed price....
