Food was good, and the lid left on my bottle so won't have to remember to bring spare lid with me!!
As for people saying about the prices, if men were to do the weekly shop they would perhaps realise that food prices have risen alot in the last few months, pasties were £2.50 so only an increase of 25p ! A 10% increase on last season not alot in grand scheme of things! Agree drinks bit expensive @ £1.50 bottle.
The catering outlet between the grandstand and family stand has been given total make over, updated, clean, new equipment no longer looking like a greasy spoon!! Looks much more professional and nicer to eat food from.
At the end of the day you get what you pay for and I would rather pay bit extra and get better quality which it was!!!!

Some very fair points riveraluo, yes food has become much more expensive and I fully agree about the improved standard of cleanliness. I still feel however, that a hot dog, pie and two Cokes at £8.80, is still on the high side. You would expect to pay much higher prices for food at some fancy restaurant, while the takeaway would be much cheaper. Football is not the once cheap day out it was and having food prices so high, only add to the costs. At the end of the day the market will decide, if fans feel its to expensive they won't buy it. Bottle tops are often left on during friendly games, I do not think they will be in league games, our stewards will make sure of that

Rattz: make sure you have a tea at Dawlish if you ever go, always in a proper mug, as it is at many clubs at that level or below!

Brilliant idea Jim I always have taken my own top, ever since they started taking them off. As I make a bottle of coke last the whole game( so as not to have to run to the loo and you know all about that Jim) it only goes flat with no lid on.

Am I the only person who hadn't thought of taking a spare bottle top with me? Gosh I feel such a fool I'm with you Jim, i never thought of that. Mind you i always bring my bottle of drink in with me, in my pocket. I always find the take the top off the bottle very amusing. Am i right in saying that it is to stop it being used as a missile??? 2 issues with that, it would still hurt if it was full and was thrown at an opposing player (or at Woods) and secondly i have seen so many people take flasks into the ground. Now a fully loaded huge flask could do a lot more damage.

And what about people taking an apple in? That could bloody hurt if hit at full pelt! ;D

We always take as much money from the grogles here in Paignton ;D ;D I have just come back from Dartmouth and had a bite to eat down there, so I think on this one I have to concede

Thanks for you answer rivieralou, Ant went and got the food, so I did not see the menu, It does seem that so many do feel it is a bit on the expensive side. Maybe in the future the club could do the catering in house. Profits to the club, but still cheaper, as they would want to fans to have a fair deal.
