As all well respecting Gulls fans know the season 1959/60 saw us gain our first promotion as a league side finishing third in Division Four.
I am lucky enough to have in my collection a set of signatures from that team, made more fascinating as they are on official Torquay United letter heading showing the officers of the time as well as various phone numbers, the most interesting being the 'Manager's Residence', so it was possible to phone his home direct!
Below is the sheet after which, for added interest, I've attached a picture of that team with the names showing their careers at the club.
