This is another wonderful image from Stuart Clarke's book and shows our crowd for the game in 1998 against Argyle. Recognise anyone here (apart from the obvious gap toothed loon!) For the record it was played on the 3rd of October with an attendance of 5,077 and was a 1-1 draw. Incidentally it was the last game that Gregg played in goal before a certain Mr Veysey took over. Scott Patridge scored our goal and the line up was: Gregg; Gurney; Herrera; Robinson; Tully; Monk; McGorry; Leadbitter; Donaldson; Partridge; Waddle; Hill; McFarlane; Bedeau. For those younger members on here (are there any?) yes, that was Chris Waddle and it was his second start for us having played in the away game at Halifax (bet that was a shock to his system!)

I bought a copy of Stuart Clarke's panoramic view of Scott Partridge's goal for my Dad for his 50th birthday a few years back. As far as I know only 2 copies have been sold (he limits them to five) one to me and the other to my godfather...
Anyone visiting barrow this weekend could do worse than visit the homes of football in ambleside which has hundreds of examples of his work.

Brilliant pictures from Stuart Clarke. I've got two of his books. I can recommend them to you all.
I've read somewhere that his gallery is going to move from Ambleside to the National Football museum in Preston at Deepdale. Don't know if that's the complete gallery or just a part of it?

One more Stuart Clarke's pictures... This was also in 1998 and shows Mr Algar's reserved seat in our grandstand... Does anyone know who Mr Algar is? And it's obvious that all the other season ticket holders have been moved elsewhere by the way the seat backs have been cleaned off... why leave him alone?!

I'm on the argyle picture with my mates and our yellow helmets. I think mine broke on the pop side wall after Gibbs scored the penalty, sure it was that game?
