Just to let fellow TQ fans know. For the Salisbury game. If your travelling by train, and there`s 4 or more in your group. Phone up 1st Great Western, as the price of tickets will be halved. ON the net its £37, but by phoning them its £18.50. Massive difference, and more beer funds.

Just read in the Herald that Salisbury have allocated room for 1000 TQ fans. Im sure we took very close to that last season, and that was in Jan. I reckon if we win this saturday the figure could be closer to 1500, especially if Burton drop points at the weekend.
It could be interesting come monday.

As usual with these scare mongering tactics, the proof of the pudding will come with the eating of it....................can anyone see Salisbury forsaking badly needed income by leaving a thousand unused places? I don't think so. I'll be doing my usual thing: no colours and trying to get in the home seats for the best view of the game. IF we win on Saturday, a thousand places will not be enough for OUR fans and well Salisbury know that. It's not every fan that goes dressed in colours, and anyone with common sense and a bit of nous will get in.

I don't think so. Salisbury have already made more room available to us...................we now have ALL the seats on the far side from the main stand AND the terracing all the way from there down the remaining side and all the way along the terrace behind the goal and the other side terrace up to the main stand..............so almost half the ground is available to us and they can't be fairer than that!

The only extra room appears to be the terracing on the other side up to the main stand. Last year we also had all the seats opposite the main stand-about 120 or so I believe., in a temporary stand. Hats off to the Salisbury guy who was wiping rain off the seats for us. I seem to recall that we took over 1,000 fans last year and broke Salisbury's attendance record for a league match. Let's hope the exits from the ground are a bit less congested than last year. I would suggest eating before arriving as well, as they had one burger van for all the away fasns. Must say that the ground staff were very friendly and welcoming though.

To be accurate, we only had half the available seats on that side of the stadium (the usual visitors' seats) whereas this year we'll be allocated the identical seats on the other side of the sponsored scoreboard AND (if required) the piece of terracing towards the home end. The TWO SEPARATE stands, although small; certainly aren't temporary but the ubiquitous ones manufactured in a factory and located all over the country on small non league grounds as a quick fix to getting seating capacities up to minimal qualifying levels..................and the "RayMac" only has a seating capacity of 500 anyway of which those little constructions hold around seventy five each I believe. Interestingly there are few season ticket holders who have agreed to be re-located on the other side of the ground on this occasion to accommodate us..................I hope our folk appreciate that gesture and don't go loudly moaning about the facilities. It's all part of the non league scene I'm afraid!

Looking forward to Monday despite the result today - we all knew that the path to success fore TUFC never runs smoothly! I still reckon there will be a great turn-out to roar the players on.
I'm away from a proper computer at the mo so can't really get a decent aswer for myself so would be grateful for any tip on parking near the ground - I recall that last season some people were stranded in a car park for ages afterwards due to the congestion - is there anywhere a short walk away from the ground that might be a better option?
