As my first post stated Sally phoned me this morning at 10am, after the call was over I had a very big contented smile all over my face(If only I had put one on for the camera on Saturday ;D) and with very good reason might I add.
I think most members on here know why I felt there should be a Torquay Fans Forum and I do not need to go over those reasons again. I will say that from day one the forum had clear and precise aims and objectives I had set for it.
Two of those aims were to make this into a forum of real quality and one that also had real depth and would have many interesting threads on it. I think you will agree that those aims have been met and everyone I have ever talked to about the forum all say its a first class forum.
One thing I was aware of just over 10 months ago, was the fact that the club took a very dim view of forums and did not want to be associated with any and had distanced itself as far as It could away from what was seen as the main forum for TUFC fans.
I had always taken the view that as a forum would be full of fans of the club and ones who mostly are paying customers, unless the forum gave the club good reason, there is no need for the forum not to be seen in a good light and as something that could enhance being a fan even more.
The important thing for this forum is that it will always be independent of the club, a forum in its own right and one where its members can feel free to air their own views, even if they may be seen as being critical etc.
Still it was always my hope that a proper well run forum and one that has good quality members who have views worth reading would one day be seem by the club as something it would want to form a friendship with and one it would read and value the input that fans had taken the time to write.
Sally and I talked about the Lewis day and how it all went, she also talked about the Burton game and the entertainment planed and asked if the forum could try and see if any members on here might help come up with some entertainment for the Crawley game this Saturday.
It was her words to describe this forum that really made me happy, she said that the Torquay Fans Forum was a quality Forum. I have said it many times before that it is you the members who make this forum special, such great posts and interesting threads that you make on it, are what separate this forum from any other and together we can keep on doing what we do best and make it even better.
So many thanks to everyone.

As to the quality of the forum... this has also been mentioned to me by various people so I big thank you to Dave R for not only setting it up but making sure it was run in the correct manner...
