Would Buckle say this about his own players when the club was on a bad run like Wrexham are at the moment? Just 1 win from the last 8 games. I don't think so.
He made the commenst after last nights draw against Barrow.
Wrexham manager Dean Saunders: "I have to be careful what I say because we've committed defensive suicide again.
"We were nervous as there are players not over-flowing with confidence but to concede another goal like that, I'm running out of things to say. It makes the staff look like mugs.
"I have a list as long as my arm of goals of bad goals scored against us lately. I find it unbelievable what I'm looking at with some of the mistakes people are making and it is going on and on.
"We spend more time working on cutting out defensive errors in training than anything else, we can't keep making mistakes like that otherwise you'll end up playing in the Conference for the rest of your career.
"We gave daft free-kicks away and we were naive. There are some players I can help but there are some players not even José Mourinho can help."
Has Saunders lost the plot or his players...
