Whilst curled up watching TV tonight, I noticed 3 red lights up in the sky. We live high up here and its nice and dark, so we have a good view of the night sky. We wondered what they were, then over the next ten mins or so there were more and more quite high up. We felt compelled to go outside. There was no noise, not that we could hear anyway. We thought afterwards maybe they were little balloon/lanterns, perhaps let off in aid of a charity event or something Did anyone else see them? Can anyone enlighten us please?

I did not see anything Bev, what more can you tell us? what part of the Bay were they over, where they out at sea or over the land?
We do have our fair share of sighting of unidentified flying objects and I know over 20 years ago, I saw a spaceship flying over Here Village. I was not drunk, just driving past the cemetery and there it was not that hight in the sky, then it just flew away at a speed I have never seen anything move before.

Still a mystery Dave. We live near Meadfoot. There were lots of these objects flying over us from inland heading down to Meadfoot direction. I lost count probably went on for 20 mins or so. Hard to say what they looked like except small red flares flying over. I say small, but then they were quite high up so hard to tell the size as there was nothing to scale them to if you see what I mean.

Yeah, excellent little things. They're like an unmanned hot air balloon. You light a little paraffin or somthing at the bottom and off they go. Bit dangerous around trees though!
