That means finishing work early and driving home late rather than letting the train take the strain and making a weekend of it

That means finishing work early and driving home late rather than letting the train take the strain and making a weekend of it A "week end" holds a totally different meaning in Eastbourne you know..............wasn't there once a destination board at Victoria that read Newhaven for the continent (Eastbourne for the Incontinent)? I won't really miss sharing the prom with deckchairs full of inhabitants who might or might not have passed away during the afternoon, wave after wave of senile delinquents charging around the park with their arms out wide humming the Dambusters Theme; and platoons of old colonels each with accompanying nurse with a "pooper scooper" just in case you understand. Be a real man Al and get up at 3am, work early and bugger off down to the coast at lunchtime - you know it makes sense! ;D
