It will be great to see him back and in a yellow shirt, with Woods now moved on it can come as no surprise that Bucks would be looking to have the experience of Todd back in the side.
I'm sure it will give the whole team a big lift to have Toddy back and I would hope he does start and it would be great if it was he who headed in the winning goal.

What ever your views and feelings about Woods being remove from the club, you must agree that Bucks has now pulled off a stroke of tactical genius, that he has not always shown he is capable of in his team selections. ;D If I was asked what I thought might have happen to see Woods leave, I would say reading some posts on here, it could be that Bucks and Woods had a meeting, Bucks thought Woods had understood why we was not being offered a contract for next season. Woods then goes and phones a third party and Bucks felt Woods had gone behind his back and was not happy about it and decided Woods would have to go. Did it happen like that? who knows, but you can bet if the fans were not happy to see Woods go, a few players would have felt the same way. You only need to see the beech video on Hargreaves blog, to see how the players got on with Woods and as I said I'm sure some players would also think Woods was not treated to fairly. To be fair to our players they came out last Saturday and got on with the job of winning the match, but what better tonic and pick you up could anyone want in the dressing room. Yes the return of Toddy and I would bet Bucks has brought him back firstly to fill the hole left by Woods, but also to try and move the dressing room on and away from any thoughts about how some may have felt Woods was treated. You have got to give Bucks ten out of ten surely.

Most exellent news. If we can't get above Burton - it's still a possibility - he's the type of player we need in the play-offs and the run-up to them.
To be honest, it's better that excellent, if that's possible. ;D

I don't understand the last sentence of your post!
Toddy has been sent away to get match fitness and prove he's worth a place in our match day line-up. He does that, is recalled, and now you question that?

"if he wasn't good enough before why now then?"
he was good enough, he just needed some match fitness, this is exactly why he was sent to Salisbury for, regardless of the Steve Woods situation, it is the right decision to bring Toddy back for the run in.

if he wasn't good enough before why now then? Who "wasn't good enough before"? I don't think she means that Toddy was not good enough, more that Bucks may have thought he was not ready to bring back last week, but now does now that Woods has gone, well i think that is what she is on about

Fair enough, but I think it was the right idea to bring Toddy back now, regardless of Steve Woods.

Christ Anna, you're in danger of justifying those who reckon "Doris's" know naff all about football! I think your comments surrounding the Woods out and Todd back scenario have been based far closer to emotion than reason. If Todd was deemed "not good enough" by the manager, he would be out on a free transfer, not out on loan. If ever there was a more simple case of just why a player was sent out on loan than Toddy's it would be hard to find. It's blindingly obvious that with no reserve side, the only way a player returning from serious injury/illness is going to get match sharp is by going out on loan.................that doesn't render them "not good enough". Sensing there might be some disquiet over their former skipper's departure amongst the squad, the timing of Todd's return also has the added element of lifting spirits amongst a very tight knit bunch of players. Please, put away the "My Best Friend's Hat" and pull on the cap of reason!
