I was privileged to be sent to her home and collect a legend of stage and screen today who was notorious in the fifties for removing too much clothing in a film scene. She's 75 now and it would be unethical to reveal her identity, but she's still working and was rendezvousing with an equally famous male star. Resplendent in furs and gold, she was enchanting company whilst I was carrying her but having to help her with her bags and ease her arthritically into my car whilst struggling with my own such aches and pains only served to underline that both the lady I fancied so much when I was a teenager and myself have grown so old!

Going through some sort of crisis maybe, post mid-life perhaps? Seeing as I'm 56, and I can't really see me making 112; "mid life" has come a bit late for me I think! Anyway, there is no crisis, even in "post" mid life
