Bit gutted to be honest with you, I thought he could have done a great job down here if Bucks had wanted to take the risk. I've long subscribed to the idea that DG needs the correct manager to play well, he needs someone who understands him and coaches him a correct way. He performed admirably under Leroy and during his short spell at Huddersfield but was dissapointing for other clubs (ignoring his spell on the right wing for Wigan where he wasn't bad but blatantly out of position).
Interestingly at Lincoln, he'll link up with his ex Huddersfield manager, Peter Jackson again, so the signs for his renaissance look good to me, although the contract is only a six month'er, so it's definitely last chance saloon for him. Heres hoping he pulls his finger out, a definite TQ legend.

The fact that he still wants to play, shows that he feels he still has something to offer. We all remember just how good a player we was, in our promotion season. Had we been able to keep hold of him when we went up, we may well have been able to stay up, instead of coming back down again.
Yes we know he has had a few problems, but you simply have class or you don't and if he really pulled himself together, he would have a lot to offer. I agree that the set up here now, would certainly be a great help to him and we may have seen the David Graham of old.
I know some feel that a player is never as Good the second time around, but at this level, he could and would have stood out, once he knuckled down. Still it does not matter now, as he has signed for Lincoln, but I would like to wish him all the best and really hope that he can show the doubters, that he still cuts the mustard, but only he can do that, I will wait with interest, to see how he gets on.
