I don't want to start challenging fate or any other superstitious nonsense, but does anyone know whether the play off dates have been fixed yet. This is a matter of life or death. One of my best mates and a Gulls supporter is getting married on 25th April, (and that was arranged before we knew the game was on the 26th!!!!!)(think he was gaining Brownie Points for that!!). Although they are not going on honeymoon (not at their age!!) their children are busy arranging a "surprise" break. If I knew what the proposed dates were for the play offs I might be able to persuade them to book the break at a different time. Don't think he would be too happy going away and missing those games. Any help would be appreciated.

I've had a bit of a search around and could not find any dates listed, but surely the final date has been set? so you would think the play-off dates would also be set.

I can't find anything, not even on Wembley Stadium's site. It gives a "provisional event" on Sun 17th May, but no mention of Conference play offs. All a bit odd.

I had it confirmed from the Conference and our own club on Wednesday that the play off dates are as follow: 1st Leg - 30th April & 1st May 2nd Leg - 4th May & 5th May Play off final: Sun 17th May The Conference said 2 things: 1. They have not decided which s/f will be on which date (presumably so Setanta can select games) 2. They have not signed on the dotted line with Wembley, but thay have 'reached an agreement to that date' (hence marked provisional on the Wembley site) trust this helps

Given the semi finalists involved - the only team which may be affected this year is Stevenage - if they were to be involved in both then I would expect their P/O semi finals to be played on the earlier dates i.e. 30th April and 4th May. Interesting that the Final hasnt been confirmed at Wembley yet. I wonder when a decision has to be made by? It does make me wonder whether there is a scenario whereby maybe the Final isnt played at Wembley? If the likes of Cambridge, Wrexham, Oxford and Stevenage are involved in the Final, and perhaps to a lesser extent ourselves - then you would expect a decent crowd and plenty of money to fill the Conference coffers BUT if the Final were to involve say Histon v Crawley - and the very real prospect of a sub 10,000 gate - could it be subject to a late change I wonder ?
